I am a research applications programmer for the Gallaudet Research Institute at Gallaudet University and a long-time advocate of Free / Open Source Software (FOSS), particularly in the area of education. I currently serve as the team contact for the Ubuntu DC "LoCo" (Local Community) and as one of the hosts of the One Laptop per Child (OLPC) Learning Club.
