Tom Davidson is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of EverFi, Inc. based in Washington, D.C. EverFi is the leading education technology platform company to teach, assess, and certify students in critical skills.  EverFi’s education learning platforms include Financial Literacy, Student Loan Management, Digital Literacy, Cyberbullying, Substance Abuse and Sexual Assault Awareness, and additional product areas to be announced in 2012. The company is powering a national movement in 50 states that enables students to learn using the latest technology, including rich media, high-definition video, simulation, diagrams, and avatars.

More than 4 million students have completed the EverFi platforms, making the company one of the largest online education providers in the world. EverFi has raised over $21 million from Amazon founder and CEO Jeff Bezos, Twitter co-founder Evan Williams, Google Chairman Eric Schmidt, New Enterprise Associates, Rethink Education, Allen and Company and angel investors such as and Blackboard CEO Michael Chasen.

Tom ran for the Maine House of Representatives while still in college and was elected in 1994 and over three terms focused on key legislative areas including technology in schools, health care and economic development. After a stint as a marginal investment banker and venture capitalist at Village Ventures, Tom started EverFi in 2008.

Tom is a graduate of Bowdoin College in the Great State of Maine. He would list any academic awards of distinction had he earned any.
