Justin Thorp serves as the marketing manager at HelloWallet where he helps craft the company’s message and marketing strategy.

Prior to joining HelloWallet, Justin oversaw the Publisher Happiness Group at Clearspring. He crafted and executed on the community & marketing strategies that saw the user base for the AddThis sharing platform grow to well over 9 million websites that reach over 1 billion people per month. He also did Web strategy for the Library of Congress where he helped launch their social media strategy, a deep partnership with Flickr, and the One Laptop per Child program. Justin received his BS in Information Technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology with a minor in American Politics.

Currently, he’s a co-organizer of the popular DC Tech Meetup and a two time Washingtonian Magazine Tech Titan. When not on the job, Justin can be found doing quality assurance testing of the tap lines of microbrews at some of Washington DC’s finest watering holes.
