When digital technology collides with a movement of socially-minded citizens and entrepreneurs, good things happen. As digital technology has become more ubiquitous, it has empowered citizens the world over to improve their lives and communities, and to solve problems in new and effective ways. It has enabled governments to provide greater value to their citizens, and has provided voices to those who have for too long been unheard. This session will take a deeper look at some of the ways technology is being used to make a tangible social impact.
