Social Media has proven to be a tremendous force in the communications industry. Companies big and small have witnessed the positive and negative affects social can play in their day to day roles. As companies begin to look at ways to understand the impacts on a larger scale there has been an increased need to measure and analyze social data. Join the Northern Virginia Technology Council’s Social Media Committee as we discuss best practices around how to measure and analyze social data as part of DC Week 2012. Industry leaders will share best practices along with creative ways companies are using this data to positively impact their business objectives. The panel will be moderated by Chris Abraham, Team Lead, Special Projects at Reputation.com (@chrisabraham). Panelists include: Carmela Aquino, Senior Marketing Communications Manager, comScore Inc. (@caaquino); Sara Goo, Senior Digital Editor, Pew Research Center (@sarakgoo); and David Taub, Chief Creative Officer, R2integrated(@R2integrated).
