Alex is the Investment Director for the CIT GAP Funds - perennially ranked by CB Insights as among the Nation's most active seed and early-stage VC funds. As Investment Director at CIT GAP Funds, Alex owns the entire investment process - with responsibility for deal sourcing, screening, due diligence, deal structuring and closing. He also serves as CIT’s post-investment lead and board representative for select portfolio companies. Alex is a graduate of Babson College’s - Franklin W. Olin Graduate School of Business and a recognized expert in entrepreneurship and early-stage investing. In addition to his work at CIT, Alex is one of the founding members of the Charlottesville Angel Network and a Firefighter/EMT with Wintergreen Fire & Rescue.
